Sogno Spritz & Castelvetrano Olives

First of all, it’s always Spritz season. I don’t care what you say. And this one had delicious herbal notes to make it more seasonal.

I met my friend Christina for happy hour tonight at Sogno Toscano in Chelsea. It is an adorable little cafe by day and wine bar by night vibe with delicious bites.

We saw the two women sitting next to us with a plate of crunchy bread and olives, so we ordered a plate of crunchy bread and olives too.

Castelvetrano olives are my favorite and if you know, you know. They are actually one of the first foods my boyfriend and I bonded over at Turks & Frogs wine bar in the West Village when we initially started dating. He said they were his favorite olives. I said they were my favorite olives. And I think we had a silent agreement we could date after that.

I definitely recommend this spot for a coffee, lunch, or happy hour date if you work in Hudson Yards or Chelsea.
